ABOUT

After graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Double Bass from the University of Auckland, Talita Setyadi found herself being more and more drawn to food. Recurring dreams of colorful confections and chic pastry shops saw her pack her bags and make the drastic move to study the cuisine and patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. It was there that she found her calling in the pastry arts, finishing top of her class in June 2012.

Her blog www.talitaskitchen.com is a testament to her passion and talents in creating original cakes and desserts. It later earned her a feature in the prestigious Spanish haute pâtisserie magazine "so good…" amongst the world's best. Currently based in Jakarta, she featured as a guest chef and judge in RCTI's Junior MasterChef Indonesia in June 2014. In April 2015, she opened the doors to her very own bakery / patisserie BEAU by Talita Setyadi at Jakarta's prestigious Plaza Indonesia. In July 2015 they opened their second location at Grand Indonesia's East Mall.
